Jesus in Indie Rock
[I stole this blatantly from Buzzgrinder... but it's a really interesting read on Pitchfork about how it isn’t cool to claim the Christian faith in indie rock. Check it out.

P.O.D. is back and so is another thing
[
Damien (MTV/TRL Host): “…So what are we testifying to with this album?”
Sonny: “14 years P.O.D. has been around, we been saying the same thing since we
first started, that there is a God out there that loves you. We have that faith and I
believe that keeps us strong, and even though we been in this business and industry
you see so many fakes and phonies… one of the lyrics on our album says if you don’t
stand for something, then you don’t stand for nothing. We have been the same way
for 14 years, no changing - no gimmicks.”
P.O.D. is once again showing their faith. Please welcome the return of Christian music in the mainstream spotlight. Whether this is good or bad… (the return of Christian music in the mainstream).

Eager Seas E-Card..Lovedrug..Mute Math
[
Click here for the P.O.D E-card for “Testify”
Listen to the amazing new Watashi Wa “Eager Seas” Album by clicking on their E-Card. This sounds like one of the best T&N albums to come out in the last couple of years.
Lovedrug is Spin.com’s band of the day (thanks absolutepunk.net)
Mute Math have posted another new track to their PureVolume page, click here.
Tooth and Nail will indeed re-release “Let it Happen” by Mxpx in April. The album will feature a ton of videos by the band and some unreleased rarities. As you know, this was a “B-Sides” album in the first place so it seems kind of pointless to re-release it. Besides, this is the ten year anniversary of “Life in General”, maybe that album should be re-released.
