Burnout Revenge
[So I'm playing this new game that I rented called Burnout Revenge (the Xbox version) and it has some pretty sweet music. In addition to Mxpx, Comeback Kid, Fall Out Boy, Funeral for a Friend, Pennywise, Unwritten Law, Yellowcard(new unreleased track), Academy Is, All American Rejects, Andy Hunter, etc., there is also a new unreleased track by Thrice from the Vehissu sessions called “Lullaby” which is a pretty incredible track. It should have made the album in my opinion because it would have been a great single. I wonder if this game has a soundtrack for sale? Maybe a legal download of the track? Hmmm. Anyway, check this game out if you like fast race destruction and cool music.

I have a question for the more knowledgeable out there. Is Dogwood still together? If anyone has a clue, please drop your comments. So I saw Aeon Flux over the weekend and I have to say that it was, well, interesting. Sort of a mix between Fifth Element and Matrix but unique in it’s own league. I remember the cartoon being strange. I’m going to see The Chronicles of Narnia this weekend with the family so that should be loads of fun and I am eagerly anticipating it. Will it be good? Hmmm..Oh and for all you XBOX owners out there, go pick up Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, it kicks butt. If anyone plays Halo out there, my gamer tag is: Scenestorm777 Just for curiousity sake, how many gamers do we have reading this site? Lastly, has anyone seen the online ad for Happy Christmas 4? It says “Featuring New and Unreleased “Holiday” songs from.(insert band name)….”. hmmmm………

Thrice - Vheissue
[I went to see Circa Survive (favrotie band ever),Thrice, and MCR tonight. MCR was very lousy, for ever reason. When Thrice was playing their new songs fromn Vheissu, I got a very spiritual vibe from the songs, so I checked the lyrics out just a minute ago. Sure enough, there seems to be a lot of stuff pointing towards salvation. You can read the lyrics here . It’d be cool to discuss this, because I know that Thrice had Christian roots, but Dustin has never been this spiritual, lyricswise. Either way, Christians can learn a lot from this album.
