[ Starflyer 59 has a demo up on myspace called “Nice Guy.” The song is supposedly to be released on a full-length in 2006. Look for a Haste The Day DVD in the future. December 29th, 2005

Cornerstone is coming up again this next year and again, I wont be attending. It’s just too far for a Californian to travel (at least for me). If Cornerstone ever decided to make a California fest, I’d be there in an instant. We do have Spirit West Coast but I think you all know what the quality of that fest is like. May I say CCM! Number One Fan changes name
[ Number One Fan have changed their name to The Robins. The sound has slightly changed as well. (Thanks Absolutepunk.net) Acceptance have updated their PureVolume page with a new Christmas track and some other songs off of the critically acclaimed “Phantoms”. [ Eleventyseven (Flicker Records) will release their debut album on March 21st. You can listen to them now on purevolume. Society’s Finest has a new song over at hxcmp3.com. Cool Hand Luke are currently working on new material. Expect an EP and a college tour this Spring and a full-length next Fall. The Showdown..Best of List…Kings to You Download
[ The Showdown have posted a brand new track on MySpace titled “Give us This Day”. The song will appear on the European re-release of their record “A Chorus of Obliteration” which will come out on Abacus in February. I made a little best of list for 2005. I know I left some albums off the list because frankly I couldn’t remember them all. Fill me in if I forgot one. Sprinkle in Spring
[ Aaron Sprinkle’s band Fair is in the studio now and will be releasing their debut album this spring on Tooth and Nail Records, according to their website. Joy Electric’s plans for 2006 include the release of a new full-length entitled “The Memory of Alpha,” a live disc, a Christmas EP, and a 7-inch. He will also be working with his brother in Starflyer 59 on the project called The Bros. Martin. The Seventh Star DVD is now available through Facedown Records. BarlowGirl Stellar Karted by new Disciple music on a Celtic musical
[ For those of you who know of BarlowGirl, or those who do not, go vote for them anyway over at Yahoo! Music’s “Who’s Next”. As a thank you to all of their fan support on MySpace Disciple has added a new song “I Feel You” onto their MySpace expect BIG thigns (as always) from Disicple in 2006, their sound is REALLY progressing. And yeah… one of Brandon’s favorite Word Records artists, Stellar Kart, is releasing a new CD in summer/fall of 2006. Flatfoot 56 from Chicago area has signed with Flicker Records, this Celtic Punk band is well known by me and some other people. [ Thanks to our man Nodes in the forums, he has informed me of two new interviews just posted up by Becoming the Archetype and Nodes of Ranvier. Here they are and “interesting” I might add: Nodes of Ranvier Whoa, Dogwood is alive! They have announced three new shows for Southern California. It’s good to see them still going at it. Quick and The Dead have some special songs (including an exclusive Christmas track) up on their MySpace page. Everyone needs to check this band out. Anberlin’s single “Paperthin Hymn” has been sent to national radio and is getting played on several stations including KROCK in New York. Waking Ashland will be on the MySpace Records Vol. 1 special on the Fuse Network this coming week. Premieres: Tuesday December 20th @ 9pm EST The Militia Group has a special Christmas sale going on where you get cds and shirts for only $8 each. Brandtson has finished recording with Ed Rose and will begin mixing their new album shortly. Look for the new full length to hit early next spring. Showbread gained a new drummer who was formerly from the bands The Woods and Such Broken Glass.
