The Dingees "Dropseeds" EP Out Now!

The Dingees return with their first new music (under their name) in a decade. The new EP is titled “Dropseeds” and it’s quite a variety of well done ska and punk rock music. The ska is definitely ska and the punk takes on that “Crucial Conspiracy” vibe. Give it a listen here. One track is going to appear on our new compilation “Fighting From The Ground Up Vol. 3” so get ready! You can also download/stream the EP over on their bandcamp here.… Continued →

Song of the Day: The O.C. Supertones - Adonai

No, The Supertones weren’t the first Christian ska band. The Israelites’ first album pre-dated them by a year. But in the UK, Rev Counta and the Speedoze* (another incarnation of Ishmael United) had released a full-length as early as 1980! And perhaps some Jamaican bands that didn’t fit into the CCM/CBA mold had been active earlier than that, it’s hard to say. Ethan Luck "Let it Burn" Out Now

The highly anticipated new album from well seasoned punk rock veteran, Ethan Luck, is out now. The album is jam packed with memorable choruses, bass heavy delivery, and a warm, inviting horn section that will keep you entertained for hours. It is my full intention to persuade you, the reader, to drop what you’re doing and support true independent music by purchasing the album.… Continued →

Ethan Luck Launches New Campaign for Ska / Reggae Album

Ethan Luck is a veteran. This seasoned musician and songwriter has been playing on albums for more pretty much all of his entire adult life. He has worked with nearly everyone from Pax (before the ‘217’), Project 86, The Dingees, Value Pac, OC Supertones, Demon Hunter, Relient K, recently as touring musician with Kings of Leon and of course his solo work. This new album will continue some of the more “punk” aspects of his last few solo releases and aim the focus directly at Ska and Reggae sounds, incorporating them in his punk rock aesthetic.… Continued →

The Dingees - Chaos Control

Today’s Video Flashback is from The Dingees for their track “Chaos Control” (off “Armageddon Massive 1998 BEC Recordings). These guys were somewhat of a “super group” when they first formed. The band originally had members of The OC Supertones in the band before they were signed. Then Ethan Luck (Relient K, Demon Hunter, Value Pac, Project 86, Pax, etc.) and Matt Hernandez (Ex-Unashamed) joined, and Dave Chevalier (formerly of OC Supertones). The band had a very Rancid-esque sound when they made their major label debut in 1998.… Continued →
