This amazing news for anyone that has been a fan of Tooth & Nail Records the past almost 20 years now. Brandon Ebel is taking the label (Tooth & Nail/Solid State/BEC) independent again. “EBEL will retain rights to all label names and trademarks and will re launch TOOTH & NAIL as an independent label group. We missed posting about this the other day but apparently Solid State Records put up the As Cities Burn album “Son I Loved You at Your Darkest” on Vinyl and it sold out in hours. Hopefully they’ll put up more copies soon. In other news, Tooth & Nail has put up Mxpx “Pokinatcha” on Vinyl (for the first time) right here.
HO HO HO. Christmas music at the tail end of August (you know you love it). August Burns Red has just released a new song off their upcoming August Burns Red Presents: Sleddin’ Hill, A Holiday Album, which you can check out below. The CD will be available in stores and online October 9th, but you can pre-order the album at the Solid State Store.
Check out the debut of “The Eyes Of The Storm,” the third track off of Becoming The Archetype‘s upcoming album, I AM——set to drop on September 18th via Solid State Records. I believe the track was released to welcome Hurricane Isaac to the United States, but I’m not entirely sure. In any case, prepare your umbrellas and listen below.

Wolves At The Gate is premiering their new track, “Awaken,” on their AbsolutePunk profile. The song will be featured on their upcoming album, Captors, which is to be released on July 3rd through Solid State Records.
The Overseer just released a music video for “Amend,” a song from their upcoming album We Search, We Dig. The album is set to drop June 19th through Solid State Records. Check out the Daniel Davidson (Underoath) directed video below.
