Spoken Begins Tracking New Album

Spoken are busy at it once again and have begun tracking their new album. This will be the follow up to “Breathe Again” which released in 2015. Unfortunately recent guitarist/songwriter Scoop Roberts will be stepping away from the band after they record this new album. You can watch a video below detailing why. I think they need to bring back Jef Cunningham and go out on tour playing hits from their earlier 4 albums from 2000-2007. That’d be sweet! Continued →

Deliverance Are Back With a New Album for 2017

Thrash/metal legends Deliverance are back with a new album in 2017 and have just launched a crowd funding campaign via IndieGoGo for it. Check out the campaign here and contribute to make this project a reality. Deliverance 2017 features longtime lead vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Jimmy P Brown with Jim Chaffin (The Blamed, The Crucified, Fasedown) on Drums, and Victor Macias (Torniquet) on Bass. This projects promises to be “fast and heavy” and bring the thrash sound they’ve become world renown for. Find out more at this link.

The Best of 2016: Rob Jensen

Facedown Records Announces "Facedown LTD."

Facedown Records has announced something incredible cool called “Facedown LTD.” which is a subscription based vinyl plan. There are 12 Vinyl Records available from Comeback Kid, xLookingForwardx, War of Ages (2), For Today, Gideon, Sleeping Giant, xDeathstarx, A Plea for Purging, Hands, xDisciplex AD, and Figure Four. Keep in mind that these are rare and limited to just 250 of each album. Some of these haven’t been pressed to vinyl before and the others will be rare collectors items in a few years. The price is $190 for all 12 Vinyl in a bundle (shipped at different times with last shipment in March 2017). You must pre-order by January 10th and there is a chance it’ll sell out before then. Circle of Dust Returns With New Album "Machines Of Our Disgrace"

Industrial music pioneer Klayton (Celldweller) is back with the project that put his name on the map, Circle of Dust. Facedown Records Tease New Vinyl Pressings

Facedown Records are teasing or rather unveiling new vinyl pressings of some of their catalog of releases. The picture below appears to show quite a few vinyl releases with 3 revealed so far: Comeback Kid “Turn It Around”, xLookingForwardx “The Path We Tread”, and War of Ages “Arise & Conquer”. Islander - Bad Guy

An album I’ve been enjoying since it was released back in August is by the band Islander. The album is called “Power Under Control” and it has that Blindside meets POD meets Deftones meets Papa Roach vibe. Theocracy - Ghost Ship

Theocracy have just released their brand new full length effort, “Ghost Ship” on October 28th through Ulterium Records. This most anticipated new release and 4th album from this Georgia band is sure to win over even the most skeptical of metal fan.
