I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this new Wolves At The Gate covers album titled “Lost In Translation” but I sure do. It’s really done with the best production and sound you can get. Theocracy return with brand new song “Return to Dust”. Watch the music video for the killer song, below. What comes to mind first and foremost is a collage of exploding head emojis, words like “epic” and “soaring”, images of powerful dragons flying through the night skies with stealth, a choir of angels with swords at their sides using their voices to battle the hoards of demons, and for some reason riding a majestic Falkor over massive fields right at sunset. This Surrender are described as an Easycore band out of Brooklyn, NY. but I would add in worshipful lyrics and a message of hope built on love. As their bio says, they are inspired by the likes of Killswitch Engage, For Today, alongside Four Year Strong and A Day To Remember. Greg Minier, the talented guitarist from thrash metal legends – The Crucified, is back with his Applehead project and just dropped his first new song in nearly 3 decades titled “Down”. This is great stuff and brings to mind some classic 90’s hard rock music. Reminds me of Alice In Chains meets Velvet Revolver, Guns n’ Roses, STP, and Soundgarden. Even a little Mammoth WVH. It’ll sound amazing regardless but the other colors are also killer.
