Zach Gehring, guitarist of Mae, wrote a blog recounting the band’s experience with their album The Everglow. Check it out here. For those who missed it the band recently announced a 10 year anniversary tour for the album.
Mae have announced that they will be going on The Everglow 10th Anniversary Tour. The band will perform The tour will kick off in early 2015 and the band will perform their hit record from beginning to end. A few dates have been announced and tickets will be on sale starting next week.
I knew they would be back eventually. Their fans wouldn’t allow them to be gone forever. Mae fans are a unique bunch, a group so rabid in their fandom that meeting another fan is like finding a new best friend. The last thing Mae released as a band was back in 2011, when Tooth & Nail Records released (e)vening, the final chapter in an EP trilogy that closed the book on the Multi-Sensory Aesthetic Experience.…
Although it seemed that the album had released earlier this year (see Carter Fraser’s review), it appears that Schematic will officially release Color (n.) Inside The Lines on December 3rd thru Spartan Records. USA Today has a decent spread on the upcoming band (including a stream of the song “Stand”).
