Check out the sounds of East Coast indie rock band, Over the Ocean. They are releasing a new album titled “Be Given to the Soil” on the newly formed label, Spartan Records. Pre-order the album on VINYL from Spartan right here. The label is run by John Frazier, a former Tooth & Nail Records employee. I think a ton of you are going to really dig this band so give them a listen.
Mae announced their farewell tour earlier this year, but it seems that some band members are already in new projects. Jacob Marshall, one of the founding members, has started a project called River James. You can download two (2) FREE tracks here.
Dave from Mae has put up the Sky’s the Limit album on iTunes/Amazon for you to download. Sky’s the Limit was the early formation of Mae before they changed their name and pressed on with new music. Mae has new songs up on myspace from their upcoming “(a)fternoon” album which comes out March 30th on Cell Records (tooth and nail). So did any of you pick up (m)orning? I didn’t and I was curious if it was any good.
