Demon Hunter Drop New Cover Songs of Face To Face and LIVE

According to the Demon Hunter facebook page, they have dropped two new cover songs but are only available through their Blessed Resistance Club. I am not a member so I can’t vouch for how these sound but if their prior music is any indication, these 2 covers are going to melt my face off, literally (and no pun intended). Demon Hunter cover the classic Face to Face punk rock anthem, “Disconnected”, as well as the hit 90’s alt rock song “Lightning Crashes” from the now classic 1994 rock album “Throwing Copper” by one of my favorite bands, LIVE.… Continued →

Relient K Drop Live Album

In something of a surprise (at least to me), Relient K released a new live album on Spotify minutes ago. The 15 tracks that appear on the release include one track from Two Lefts, a few choice selections off Mmhmm, and the rest are from varied releases after that. Looking forward to giving this a good listen. You can also pick up the live vinyl HERE, however it appears to contain 9 songs rather than 15. Who’ll be checking this out??… Continued →

They also released some info on what we can expect to see on it, such as 8 tracks from their set on June 3, 2017 at the 20th Anniversary (final) O.C. Supertones show), as well as 2 surprise tracks from the PAX217 reunion show at the House of Blues in 2013. If this doesn’t sound good enough, this album is going to be released in the “pay what you want” format.… Continued →

Hangnail Return From Their Slumber With Hard Hitting "Live" Album

The punk rock band Hangnail have indeed returned with a vengeance and are set to make all of you long time fans and fence sitters, instant fans of the band again. How might they accomplish this goal? Well with just one spin of their “Live” album it becomes abundantly clear just how much raw talent and power these men wielded through their instruments. Hangnail weren’t just another pop-punk band meant to ride the coattails of Billie Joe and Green Day with faux English accents, spiky hair, and pretend attitudes.… Continued →

REVIEW : Ed Kowalczyk - Alive

I remember being in high school and rocking out to Live's albums Throwing Copper and the Secret Samahdi. Still great albums today. Some of the songs were just so infectious that getting them stuck in your head on a near daily basis was simply inevitable. If you're familiar with the band I'm sure you can relate.
