Gotee Records band House of Heroes is set to release a 19-song compilation titled The Knock-Down Drag-Outs on April 30. The album features new songs, b-sides, covers, remixes, acoustic versions and more. It will be available at all digital outlets while physical copies will be only be available exclusively at the band’s shows and at gotee.com/store. Today’s Video Flashback is from Relient K and features five videos. First video is “Must Have Done Something Right” off the album “Five Score and Seven Years Ago” (Capitol 2007). I love this song. The second song is “Who I Am Hates Who I’ve Been” off “Mhmmm” (2004 Gotee/Capitol). The third song is “Chap Stick, Chapped Lips, and Things Like…” (2003 Gotee Records). Third video is “Pressing On” off “Anatomy of Tongue and Cheek”. Finally, the fifth video is “Marilyn Manson Ate My Girlfriend off their 2000 “Self Titled” release (Gotee Records). It’s cool to see how far this band has come over the years.

House of Heroes have finished mixing their new album which will be released soon. The band have also announced their first shows of 2012, which can be seen below. Tim Skipper of the band House of Heroes, will be going on a short solo tour also.
I’ll admit it – I’m a huge House of Heroes fan. Ever since I first saw them at Purple Door Festival a few years back I’ve been hooked. Now as I sit here and hope that someone decides to buy me a copy of the seemingly amazing Suburba (hint hint, Gotee) – I’m absolutely stoked to share with all of you the conversation I had with Tim a few weeks ago.
