It is a haunting, beautiful piece of work that brings to mind some of the greatest folk/rock groups today. It took me a little while to get into listening mode on this new album but I finally did, and I am thankful to have found a great new addition to my Christmas music collection. If you dig the musical styling of groups like Anathallo, Sufjan Stevens, Damien Jurado, Mumford & Sons, The Decemberists, then you’ll fall in love with these songs. Perfect for any Christmas collection. Hymns of Ninevah also released a “Self Titled” album earlier this year. Listen to a track off of “Endurance in Christmas Time”, below.
