Audiofeed Festival has come to fill the void that Cornerstone left when it ceased to exist a decade ago. The creators of Audiofeed took a stand, brought along some experience and a diverse taste for remarkable independent music and further seek to share that undeniable influence with a new generation of music goers. Song of the Day: Resurrection Band - Beggar in the Alleyway

Depending on how you define the term, Resurrection Band was arguably the first Christian heavy metal band. While their debut album was released in 1978, their earliest demo recordings date back to as early as 1973. While many fans and critics will argue, “they’re not heavy metal, just hard rock,” this outlook unfortunately judges the past by current standards. Metal has moved on and splintered into a hundred different and more extreme subgenres. These are some bands that were sort of popular, but didn’t get very far. Hopefully this sheds some light to the underground SFHC Scene or more appropriately, SFMC Scene. 5. One Way/Raid Christian metalcore/hardcore One Way formed in… I don’t know when. The 80’s. The band did not have very much success or really any publications. Other than one in HM in 1991.
