Oklahoma City based Alt/pop songstress Leah has released her new album Every Move today to digital outlets. The release was independently produced and published and features six new tracks.

Some new music from the always-incredible folksy band NEEDTOBREATHE has been released today. The dudes over at Paste Magazine are exclusively premiering a new song called “The Heart”. NEEDTOBREATHE will release their next album, Rivers in the Wasteland, on April 15 from Atlantic Records.

In a surprise move, alt-rock band Switchfoot is streaming their soundtrack/full length album Fading West a week ahead of the release date. The sibling punk band known as Children 18:3 have announced that they’ve departed Tooth & Nail Records and will be recording their new and FINAL album, label free. The band seeks to raise $25K through kickstarter to put this new and final album into motion. You can watch the video below and contribute here if you’d like to be a part of the action. The Classic Crime have recently started recording their new acoustic album. Did you donate to their Kickstarter for this album? The album is expected to be released sometime in the first half of 2014.
Aaron Sprinkle has turned his impressive talents to a new genre: pop. Is it a good direction for him? Yes and no. He brings a high level of production quality and songwriting to the genre which I find refreshing, but while it’s musically superb and unique in his discography, the lyrics do suffer a drop in depth – or maybe I’m just not on the right wavelength.
