New Pop-Punk Band Light The Way Releases Debut Ep

By in News | 11 Comments

A really great independent pop-punk band by the name of Light The Way has release a jaw dropping new ep titled “Grace” that is available on bandcamp here. You can listen/download the ep below. This phenomonal indie pop-punk act from Northern California features equal parts melody and angsty pop-punk, bringing back memories of the past while embracing the future. Think of bands along the lines of The Swellers, The Wonder Years, Yellowcard, (old) Over It, and even a little Blink 182. This new band is sure to bring all the goosebumps, nostalgic yearning and inspire listen after listen. Best part of all, this EP is FREE on Bandcamp! Get into it!

Just downloaded this now – thanks for the heads up, Brandon!

This story brought to mind another good pop punk band called Arms Length Away. The album was out in 2012 & the band’s since called it quits but it’s such a solid pop punk album. RIYL: New Found Glory, Relient K. Check it fam! http://armslengthaway.bandcamp.com/

Dude! They are sweet! Any other good recommendations? I recommend to you At The Wayside if you haven’t checked them out yet!

No probs! I’m not really on top of the pop-punk scene, so no more recs from me unfortuantely.

Cheers for the At the Wayside rec – checked out one track and I really dig the Four Year Strong / Set Your Goals vibe going on.

I’d love to find more Christian pop punks that have that new sound. Great album!

This is some good stuff. It takes some cues from some really solid bands. I could really get into this.
