Alternative artist Joy Williams (formerly, The Civil Wars) posted a new music video on her Facebook this morning with the tagline:
“I am a universe wrapped in skin. Maybe too much skin. But I felt I needed to show who I was from the inside out. Who we all are. I’m excited (and a little nervous) to share the video for “Woman (Oh Mama)” with you… Watch it it now!”
“Woman (Oh Mama)” comes from Joy’s upcoming album Venus. There is currently no release date but it will be out this Summer.
(As a warning, the video does in fact show quite a bit of skin. It is all tastefully and artfully done with no explicit nudity. However, I am sure it is more than enough to offend someone and/or make them stumble.)
