New Commenting, New Staff, & more

You will soon notice a lot of new names posting fresh content to the site. After our successful search for new staff we have 7 new staffers to handle reviews & 2 that will be focusing on interviews. In the next few weeks to a month you will be seeing reviews of a lot of albums that we’ve missed over the past 6 months & even some further back that we wanted to see…
Under The Radar Is Back!
As you may or may not have noticed, last year I stepped aside from doing the Under The Radar feature on IVM as life was too hectic with getting married, moving, & all that comes with that. But I wanted to let you all know that the feature will be back & hopefully better than ever! The newest feature, as I’m sure you’ve seen, is Brave Season, who you all need to check out. For those unfamiliar with the feature read below.

Album Release List Updated 1/4/12
The Album Release List has been updated again with many new releases, fixed links, updates release dates, etc. from both Brandon & myself. It also includes upcoming Facedown Records TBA’s from Your Memorial, Onward To Olympas, & Gideon. As always if you have more info please comment or email.

I just wrapped up a complete overhaul of our Album Release List. Unfortunately due to life (getting married, buying/fixing up house, work, etc) it got way behind. However it is up-to-date through late March & the TBA 2012 is pretty extensive.

Get your own image to show with your comments
Do you want to have your own image instead of the default IVM image to show with your comments? Well, it’s easy and here is how you do it: Go to www.gravatar.com and click on the button that says “Get your Gravatar today >>” and just follow the instructions. Make sure that you use the same e-mail address as you use here at Indie Vision Music and your image will work on our site.

More Goodies On IVM 5.0
We’ve added a few more features on the site that I just want to mention quickly. Please read below.
Update on 2/13/2011: Added another new feature: now you can search reviews in the reviews section. Type artist or album name into the search field at the top and you will find all the reviews (if we have them) of that album or artist.

New IVM Site Refresh/Re-design

New IVM Facebook Fan Page

In case you didn’t know, our site now has a mobile version. It works great for mobile phone devices. Just turn on your phone and enter our web address to view the brand new mobile version of the site.

Malware Warning Gone
A quick heads up: As most of you have already noticed, Google has cleared our site and the malware warning is gone.
This was a temporary glitch and we are still not exactly sure what caused it but it seemed to be gone as soon as it appeared. T&N continues the trend of releasing 3 CD collections (Kutless, Hawk Nelson, & The Supertones). Scheduled Downtime
IVM will experience a short period of planned downtime tonight to fix a few things. Most notably we’re are removing “/wordpress” from the address. It’s bothered us for quite awhile and fusse is taking care of it. Thanks!
