Props to them for holding til November!
I’ve almost always considered this band to be a little bit motivated by money. They released a Twilight song around the time one of the movies was being released. I’ve never found their records to be all that meaningful or memorable. A Christmas album for most artists IS a money grab, but – after the Jellyrox – I became willing to give a Christmas album a chance. That was before I saw the cover art. This is seriously the best they could come up with? Jesus – who was offered on the cross, giving us the free, undeserved gift of salvation – brings Santa a toaster? They couldn’t use Jack Frost, Frosty, or Rudolph?
The Jellyrox won me over to an extent (the vocals were still a bit grating), because the hooks and synth sounds were better than most of what was released this year.
“Regifted” could be a prophetic title.
I am…excited? Wow, that feels weird to say about an eleventyseven album, not to mention a Christmas album.
So excited for this! They have always been my guilty pleasure, and I love Christmas music. Personally I think the artwork is funny
Same. Don’t read too much into it people, eleventyseven have never been that band. They write songs about unicorns.
I love this band
Exactly! They are just a fun band. Just good old happy music
