Nice. But i thot “formerly known” was his first cd on reach?
it was technically a mixtape
^^ Meanin it wasnt on a label? Ive seen plenty of “mixtapes” on labels b4.
Mixtapes are considered more like introductory EPs…not really considered albums.
^^ Ive seen plenty of “mixtapes” released afta an artist has been around a wile+ released ther own ful lengths, 4 example: Lecrae. Im Js.
I was a mixtape on Reach but isn’t counted as a debut because of being a mixtape. Get it?
Yeah what Dakota said…they are one-off projects, not considered albums. They can still be “on the label” technically, but Formerly Known wouldn’t be known as a debut album because it isn’t an album, it is a mixtape.
^^ Lol, ok then, it all makes sense now.
