      I was initially inclined to agree with you, but after seeing their new set on the Chariot/Comeback Kid tour, I don’t think so, at least not currently. Metalcore, for the time being, is ‘marketable’, and that’s exactly what they are moving away from. I wouldn’t say the new material is particularly digestible to high schoolers.

    • Yeah, you’re right man. Bands shouldn’t be able to afford a family, kids, go on tour, eat decent food, and play music for people.

  3. So an album from 8 years ago just went gold? It is a great album and all, but I’m surprised people are still buying enough copies to do anything noticeable with it.

    That album is legendary. Is and was, at the time it came out too. They were the best…now, I’m not sure it’s even the same band. But side note, the stuff before Chasing Safety was sick!
