[Bio]
Florida melodic hardcore outfit Rejoice The Awakening officially announces the upcoming release of the band’s sophomore EP album titled ”Many Waters / Many Floods”. The band’s project is set for release on Dec. 5, 2011 and will be available on Itunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, and many other digital music sites and in select retail outlets. Producer Brian Hood (A Plea For Purging, Gideon, Hope For Dying, As Hell Retreats) recorded and mixed the 5 song EP at 456 Recording Studio in Huntsville, AL. Lead singer Nick Baily says “This album is about forgiveness because you can’t love someone until you’ve forgiven them and you can’t love yourself until you look past all of your mistakes and let them go”
Rejoice The Awakening has been very hard at work since the 2010 release of the band’s EP Beautiful Creatures. The band has toured with bands such as Red Morning Voyage and Beware The Neverending. They have also played dates with Underoath, The Chariot, A Plea For Purging, and Oh Sleeper just to name a few. “Many Waters/ Many Floods” is an incredibly well put together album full of great hardcore, chants, and sing along songs. The album will solidify RTA as a band that can pack a punch musically and sonically while communicating Hope and demonstrating love to culture of folks who desperately need it.
