
Fresh off a national club trek Deas Vail is excited to stay on the road and embark on a trek of November / December dates with Sick of Sarah and Now, Now deemed the Oh Christmas Tour, with their new four track holiday EP “For Shepherds & Kings” that includes three new studio tracks and a live version of O Come, O Come Emmanuel, produced by Edison Glass frontman Joshua Silverberg at his Nashville based Red Red Studio, to be released on November 29. Hailing from Arkansas, the Arkansas Times deemed them “Russellville’s purveyors of overpoweringly earnest, heart-on-sleeve indie-pop”, while Amplifier asks “Are we primed for another indie rock revolution?” and Sidelines says “Deas Vail nailed it!”. Deas Vail is – Wes Blaylock – Vocals, Keys, Laura Blaylock – Keys, Synth, Wes Saunders – Drums, Andy Moore- Guitar and Justin Froning- Bass.
Following up their 2009 release Bird’s & Cages the new album is 12 songs that rise with edgy urgency and impassioned hope, filled with sweeping melodies and textured layers of guitars and keyboards fronted by singer Wes Blaylock’s wailing vocals match only by the band’s poetic songwiting.

unfortunately, I’m pretty sure they broke up after Time Is Fiction.
I definitely just assumed that the Hawkboy/Marksmen show on the 17th in Dallas would be at the Door……… guess that was wrong.
