  1. I dig it. The chorus can be a little annoying, but I will be buying this when it comes out.

Im not gonna lie, when they first got signed I thought they were a joke. But after hearing this song and all the clips available on Amazon, I’m really starting to dig this band!

Here come all of the Paramore comparison comments…..

I seriously don’t think it sounds like Hayley at all though. Pretty good band in my opinion.

It sounds like a lot different stuff out there (far from just the ‘Paramore’ thing that everyone points back to) that i’d rather not get into right now. As a stand alone product, it is a polished album that has catchy anthems full of promising potential. I am just not a big fan of bands with costume like attire but I know it’s all a part of entertainment and each band has their thing. I am sure they will go far and will definitely attract a heavy fanbase in their marketplace. Whenever Tooth & Nail sends me the download files, I will definitely listen on my iPod ;) I already listened to the stream a few times.

I’m hearing a lot of Katy Perry in them, but that’s just me. Not that there’s anything wrong with that (though I’m not a KP fan myself), I’ll just have to give them more listens before I can really say I like them or not.

Very nice! I know they are under the Tooth and Nail banner but are they “a Christian Band” or “Christians in a band” or “We happen to have spiritual lyrics”? I’d love to see them tour with Capital Lights and Children 18:3 and maybe Hawk Nelson.

Well, it’s not as epic-feeling as the EPs, but it’s a fun and well put together song and the lyrics are creative. A slight letdown from previous works, but still a cool video and hopefully a great album. Regarding their Christianity, I haven’t seen the interviews, but Off With Her Head, Call Me Alive, and The Grey all have Christian lyrics (especially the first one) and the rest at least have a positive message. Based on that and the fact that they’re on Tooth & Nail, I’d say they’re about as Christian as TFK or Red.

The album is good. But don’t listen to it if you don’t like copycats.

Wait, you’ve heard it? How? Where?

    • Brandon says:

We are often given albums early for the website by PR people, labels, bands, etc, for review and promotional purposes. Sometimes these preview copies are streams and sometimes they are downloads.

      A copy for review :(

Also, does anyone else but me think the video is in poor taste considering what happened in London with the riots?

    • Ian says:

I am sure the video was filmed wayyy before anything in London happened. Spraypainting isnt as bad as burning down buildings. I see this as punk art rather than some Green Day video saying F*&# the government. Not trying to start a debate though.

    • Sam says:

Being that they probably filmed this weeks ago, I doubt the riots even crossed their minds. I don’t think they had any intention of that connection. It’s just bad timing, nothing really offensive.

How does the drummer keep playing while practically jump up and down behind the kit?

Hey its the “good looking” bassist they were looking for a few months back…

The drummer did an interview with C.E. Moore of The Christian Manifesto, and if you can bear with the various tangents they go off on, they actually have a lot of interesting discussions, both about this album and other things. If nothing else, he actually admits a flaw on the album in the midst of promoting it.
