Oh, Sleeper have posted a brand new song, titled “Endseekers”, from their forthcoming album Children Of Fire on Facebook or at Solid State’s website. The album will hit stores September 27th on Solid State.

This is better than ANYTHING on Son of the MOrning, basically! I liked that album, but it didn’t have that “drive” that WIAG had, and this totally does! I think a lot of it has to do with the drummer. Zac is a lot like Ryan IMO… and Matt is probably one of the best drummers out there, but I think a lot of his drum work made the sound sound way too “advanced”.
Basically what I am getting at is I LOVE THIS!

This might be the best thing they’ve ever written…even over WIAG and I never thought I’d say that. The clean sections are more like they were in SOTM but the heavier parts were more like WIAG so I dig it!!!

nice sinister sounding guitars, totally going back to WIAG thankfully. i personally found most of SOTM corny and lame, so i’m digging this. I hope they keep this feel for the rest of the songs
Right?! I dunno, just something about SOTM seemed “off”. I liked it enought, but it just seemed… ya kinda corny at points. I don’t think they put their full effort in that album like they did on WIAG (and this one by the sound of Endseekers!)
I agree, I really liked SOTM but it got really old quick, but I still listen to WIAG. This sounds like the album has some great potential.
So true! Still, nothing beats We are the Archers. I always think that will be my all time favorite OS song!
my opinion on SOTM is that they had an idea and probably had about 5 songs worth of quality material. I feel like a lot of SOTM is forced, or they stretched an idea out to make another song. probably should have been an EP, but whatever, the kids love it so it paid off!

I liiiike. Sounds like a mixture of WIAG and SOTM…a little more on the WIAG side of things. I thought both of their albums were excellent…I don’t get the corny aspect from SOTM at all. Anyway…awesome song!!!

Yeah they do. There’s something about them. While Solid State seems to be fall apart and other bands are losing their spark left and right, Oh, Sleeper just stand out somehow. I can’t tell you how excited I am for this new album.
Its a Solid State christian metalcore band. Need I say more?
I think it’s funny how much hype they’ve been getting without the label pushing it through advertisements; THAT is a sign of a dedicated fan-base!

Tons of bands get tons of hype. Hype happens. I always see people talking about how much a band was hyped. Take it as a grain of salt and judge it for yourself when you hear it. That’s about all you can do.
I wasn’t saying anything negative, I was just making an observation.
I think they get more hype than others because they were able to create a distinct logo for themselves with the broken pentagram. DH did the same thing with the demon skull/bullet hole. We see how that immediately is recognized as DH, the broken pentagram is now recognized and OS. A logo like that goes a long way.

Wow. One thing that has always stood out to me about Oh, Sleeper is their guitar work so this is amazing. Sounds very apocalyptic, but beautifully so. :)
Wow! I thought more people would like SOTM better. I liked it a lot better then WIAG. And honestly, I am not really digging this new song. Hopefully it will grow on me…
Yeah it’s weird. There’s like a 50/50 split over which OS album is better haha. It’s a strange phenomenon. Personally, I prefer SotM, but WiaG is awesome too.
