Agreed! When I listened to “The Finisher”, the significance dawned on me and I was blown away. I’m glad to see it again. I wonder if the woman on the cover symbolizes something too.

Nothing beats When I am God cover, but this is a VERY close second! Hear’s hoping to the length and style of WIAG too!

Is there a high res version of this somewhere? I’d like to throw it into my rotation of album cover wallpapers.

FINALLY. I have been looking forward to some sort of hype for this album for weeks! Solid State has been hyping ABR way too long for my taste, so it’s about time they promote Oh, Sleeper’s new album :D

I kind of guessed they’d promote the album 1-2 months in advance (since that’s what they did with Leveler), so this is right on schedule.

Now, who’s ready for the Press release?

New song called “Endseekers” is up from the band, and the release date was indeed pushed to September 27th, regardless of what I had read in HM and Fuel magazine.

  16. Endseekers is absolutely ridiculous.

    It’s everything I expected.

Has anyone checked the tracklist on the album page? There are 12 tracks, which should make this longest Oh, Sleeper album yet :D

I’m pretty sure the girl represents the girl in the album. theres an interview with Micah http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPEETdi7yxU&feature=related and he talks about what the album is about…..it sounds pretty pretty pretty awesome, like each song is a chapter

Does anyone think that woman stands for Yael’s mother? If you’ve read the meaning to the song.

    • Jordan says:

more likely it’s the atheist daughter who is one of the albums two main characters. I don’t think that Hush Yael is actually meant to be strictly interpreted from the mother’s point of view.
