If I calculated this right, the date is set for November 22 (a Tuesday) at 7 p.m. EST. Any ideas of what this could be?

my understanding is that the Five Iron Frenzy website has been owned by a former Frenzyboarder for a couple years. I really don’t think it’s much.

I think it’s mostly a new site. I’m gonna be sitting there when that countdown ends and even if it’s just a new site I will be very happy haha.
Jeff replied “can’t tell you why the FIF calendar’ss counting down. change is good, interesting; you will have a chance to be involved.” to someone a few weeks ago on twitter

Actually, the FIF is official to my knowledge. I think that their simply counting down to when they’re going to make a public announcement about the future of the band. It may be a reunion, it may not be. Leanor said in her interview on BrokenFM that there will be an announcement of some kind in the future, she’s just not sure what it will be. It’s possible that the band will reunite, but it’s definitely not confirmed.

  Those FIF members are going to be really ticked off when they see the fliers and facebook posts. I doubt most people will notice but if someone picks up on it and accidentally announces it as a reunion show of FIF, then it’ll be a nightmare scenario. haha.
