I just want a new album
Agreed
Yes.
Wow. Kinda wierd, but wateva worx, lol.
My question would be…. why?
Will this put to rest the comments about Soul Embraced not being Christian? That would make me almost as happy as a new album.
Whos the idiot that acused em of not bein a Christian band? They hav writen plenty of blatant Christian lyrix in the past.
Haha yeah they have always been christian. They got a metal legend or two(cant remember who) from Living Sacrifice on guitar and possibly something. They were Signed To Solid State for the longest time
well it’s a step down in labels i think, but what ever puts the record out there im all for it!
Once again, Solid State loses ANOTHER great band.
Phil, why is it weird?
Wretched, i was just surprised that they went wit a smala label, thats all. I figured if they left ss then they wud go 2 metal blade or nuclea blast or sumthin, lol.
Travis, Rocky wanted to put out a record with an indie label and he approached me. I’m still kinda shocked by it all! It’s a step down for sure, but rocky was tired of dealign with major label stuff, lawyers, etc. In rocky’s words, “We’re just two dudes putting out a record together”.
The demos I’ve heard are brutal. It could end up being the best one ever!!
For the record, they are all Christians and it is a Christian band.
“It’s a step down for sure, but rocky was tired of dealign with major label stuff, lawyers, etc.”
I can completely understand that point.
Also, it’s not like Soul Embraced is touring all of the time. Having the flexibility of a smaller label when you’re not doing much is incredible, rather than being on a major label that would rather you make an album every year and not stop touring.
I totally agree with David. They tour once a year if not less. and now only having two members (which it sounds like above) you can’t tour unless you get fill ins. Either way i’m just happy they are putting out Mythos
@Dustin Actually Soul embraced is a full band now.
