iMatter Fest Coming to NY September 2-4

I got this news submitted to me so I figured I’d post it. A lot of our readers are from that section of the U.S. so it’s definitely relevant to you :) Hey, check out this festival happening in Elmira, NY, on September 2-4. It’s called the iMatter Fest and it’s focused on teen suicide prevention and such. They have some pretty sick bands this year- Impending Doom, I the Breather, Emery, August Burns Red, Gideon, The Great Commission, Texas in July, The Ember Days, My Heart to Fear, A Plea for Purging, and Life in Your Way! It’s pretty awesome and I would love it if you would post about this.

Thats awsome!! Last year was sweet, but this line up is alot better , i am really excitied about seeing Emery , A Plea and Gideon. Cant wait!

Last year Oh, Sleeper was phenomenal and The Almost put on a good show. They said at one point that Ascend the Hill was coming this year, but apparently not. That’s disappointing.
Last year there was a lot of generic metal bands that we had to wait through, but hey, it’s free! I’m not about to complain about seeing Oh, Sleeper for free.
This is an awesome outreach, as well. Tons of area churches get behind this thing, and they were straight up preaching the gospel later on in the day.

I’d say I’m most likely going. It’s gonna be awesome. mostly stoked to see Emery (though i’m seeing them Saturday anyway) and Life In Your Way. Ah heck, who am I kidding, the whole lineup looks awesome.
