Blindside’s twitter has been updated with information stating that the new album was played for another band and they can’t wait for everyone to hear it. The band who heard it, Papa Roach, sent out another tweet saying that the album is out in March of the coming year.

My first thought when I read this headline was “NO WAY!!!” (in a good way that is). Then I read Papa Roach and thought, “What?”… I’m still chuckling to myself as I read this. Oh well, Blindside is awesome, and I cannot wait to hear the new record.
Heck yes! I have been waiting forever for this! March is too far away! Release it now!!!

@Brandon I heard through DVP at HM a while back (5-7 months ago) that the reason it was getting so delayed is they were working out a deal w/ a new record company. Not sure if this is still the case, but sounded like it was going to be through an actual company.
When is the last time Blindside has released an album? Seriously, I’m just curious- seems like forever.
Their last full length, titled “The Great Depression,” came out in 2005… so yeah, they’ve been due for new material since basically forever (although if you count the Black Rose EP, which released 2007, slightly shorter than forever).

Yeah i knew about the Black rose Ep, i meant full length albums. But 2005 was the last full length album they released huh?; still a long time.

you can check out some of their songs at their promotional website. unfortunately i’m not really thrilled with what i’ve heard so far. especially “monster on the radio”. i loathe this song. sounds like they sold out.
