In a story I didn’t expect to cover, it appears that Wish for Eden are back together and are planning not only a new album in 2011 but a tour as well. Some might remember Wish for Eden as the very first Tooth and Nail band ever and the first release (Pet the Fish) to come out on the label way back in 1993. I always enjoyed their album with it’s helmet like guitar crunch and post grunge tendencies. We’re nearing the 20 year mark for their album (I’m sure the band started 20 years ago) Crazy. [facebook]

Wow thats crazy,I always thought they would be one album band and done. Good for them.
Im also plesently surprised anotha good band has decided 2 reform!! This was probably the most out of the blu/ unexpected. Im def guna chek out the new stuf!!
very strange. if they go back to T&N that’ll be one good signing finally. ;)
Scott Silleta (ex plankeye, fanmail) is producing the new stuff
I have their first on on cassette
this is indeed crazy. never even listened to Wish For Eden, but first T&N band reforming is certainly interesting.
It must have something to do with their 20th anniversary of when they started as a band. That’s my guess.
First Everdown reunites and now Wish for Eden. Could this be a new trend? Could there be more old T&N bands rising from the dead in the future (crossing fingers for Training for Utopia, Focal Point, and Strongarm)?
They have 2 new songs up on their facebook page.
