Actually some of the songs do sound like they could be about God.
The last track seems like it could be about steering away from false prophets and teachers.
It does seem a bit “dark” but most as I lay dying albums, actually all of them have skulls and some songs still deal with spiritual issues (this is who we are from an ocean between us) they were never a preachy band to begin with btw, sleeping giant is a preachy band, aild is not.
