I am pretty sure that Solid State goofed up on the track listing because I have heard and read that its 10 songs, not 9. I think when SolidState released this info, they forgot one song.
Love everything about this. The artwork is amazing, the title is cool sounding, and the track names seem to have depth and thought.
Wow, that was quick.
No this was not quick at all actually. Even though the announcing to Solid State was recent, they were done recording their SS debut before the “official” announcement of them being signed to Solid State.
That is how it is in the business though. Bands don’t lie low waiting to get signed before they make an album.
But also, have been signed to Solid State long before the official press release.
Thought you would want to know. This album was not rushed in the least bit.
Yeah, I doubt they could pull off the nine track album. I have to admit, I’d kind of forgotten about this release until now, but I’m pretty excited now
I’m excited. This is such a great band.
good guys, good band.
PS, Brandon, IF you are interested, I have put together a 5 minute sample album teaser for our upcoming album (that was based on CS Lewis’ “The Screwtape Letters”). At this point in time we only plan to send this to 2-3 websites and a guy who reviews at a well-known magazine. We’d like to get the teaser to you to see if you are interested in reviewing/promoting it on IVM. Hit me up @hotmail.com if you are interested. No hard feelings if you aren’t, but if you could spare 5 minutes of your time that would be rad.
Jamie- you should definitely email it to steve@indievisionmusic.com , I am sure he would love to get it. You can also email it to me brandon@indievisionmusic.com because I love free music.
Haha awesome. I’ll do that tonight after work. :)
I can smell a Solid State sponsored Underoath/To Speak Of Wolves tour on the horizon…or not..lol…I think Spencer had a bit of pull for his brother’s band to be on the same label as him…
Well, to be fair, Phil was already in a band on T&N for many years so he already had a history with T&N/SS.
Have to say, even though I don’t like the music I’m digging the artwork. It’s unique for the style of music they play.
