Agreed, definitely looks awesome and I will certainly see it. If they have enough 3D effects going this movie could be pretty huge and pull in a lot of dough. Having Jeff Bridges come back was smart too.
They had the trailer playing when we went to see Alice this past week and it was in 3d. Looks sick. Loved the original.

That movie looks awesome!!! One of my top movies to come out this year!!!!! I can’t wait to see it!!!!
The overall look of this film reminds me a lot of The Matrix when it was all new and awesome. I remember seeing the first Matrix in the theater and thinking to myself, “WOW”. I wonder if this film will have the same “WOW” element to it? Having music by Daft Punk throughout the movie certainly isn’t going to hurt it any ;)
The genius of The Matrix’s punch was the lack of knowledge about what you were going to see. I had no idea about the plot when I went to see it. Warner Bros.’ Inception is taking this approach, as all that is known about it is that people can invade people’s dreams.
If you haven’t seen the first Tron, I can understand how the movie’s look could seem original. The guy who directed that movie is producing this one and the director of Tron Legacy is a fan of the original. Tron has been my favorite movie for a long time and, while I was not surprised at how good the movie look, I was very impressed with the effects and, even moreso, the sounds and mood of the trailer.
Yeah, can agree with Chris on that. Us Tron fans will know what to expect but man, is it visually stunning. Everything about the trailer looks good and I’m almost surprised considering it’s Disney. I just hope the movie maintains the darker look of the trailer and doesn’t ‘kiddy’ up.
