Switchfoot Plays Leno

SWITCHFOOT will appear on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Wednesday, March 17th, performing “Mess of Me,” which is currently #12 at Modern Rock radio. The track is the lead single from the band’s seventh album, Hello Hurricane, which debuted in the Top 15 of The Billboard 200 last November. “Mess of Me” was recently nominated for a GMA Dove Award in the “Rock Recorded Song of the Year” category while “Always,” which was featured in “Grey’s Anatomy” recently, received a nod for “Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year.” (Thanks Bobbie)

I like Switchfoot but not enough to support Leno. He’s lame and unfunny. TEAM COCO

i find it ironic that always – a worship song – was featured on grey’s anatomy. if only the producers of that show understood the meaning of the song…

I don’t like Leno or either of Switchfoot’s first 2 singles.
(“Always” sounds like a boring version of “Dare You to Move”.)

Seems like all I do on this site lately is spew negativity. Sorry for that

Don’t worry about being negative. We’re all entitled to have our own opinions. I personally liked Conan O’Brien at the 11:30pm slot. Jay Leno is just boring. I hope Conan gets another show soon. Personally, I loved the “hello hurricane” album but not so much their first single “Mess of Me”. There are a lot better songs on the record than that one.
