The band The Classic Crime, have put up a new song titled “Solar Powered Life” over on the antiquated website known as Myspace. “Vagabonds” will without a doubt end up in my Top 5 of the year. Catchy melodies, insightful lyrics, and harmonically punishing. Music set to win not only the crowd’s attention, but also my fond, personal affection. “Vagabonds” contains elements missing in much of today’s music climate: riffs that engage the listener, lyrics that are meaningful yet brash and not afraid to challenge the mood, and melodies that are so captivating that it would be hard to argue their undeniable relevance within the constraints of their little music scene. I not only recommend “Vagabonds” but I also strongly encourage you, wait, I PLEAD you to BUY this record in April when Tooth and Nail Records will release it. “Vagabonds” comes off as a highly believable record and I applaud the band’s efforts in reaching out to capture a whole new generation of music fan. Whew, I’m done.
If you preorder the new Classic Crime album “Vagabonds” from Zambooie, all profits will be donated to the Haiti Earthquake Relief Effort! That sounds pretty awesome to me. Order here.

I don’t suppose I can get my hands on this to review, huh? :-P
I’m going to go over and check this song out. Myspace may be old but it remains my #1 source for checking out bands new music.
Ok, that song was amazing alright. Precisely why those worrying about the sample had no reason to fear. You couldn’t hear the sweet classic rock style riff, cowbell, or other vocal harmonies in that sampler (since it was primarily choruses) like you can when you get the whole picture. This album WILL rock.
Michael- I can’t believe you don’t have this yet for review. Tooth and Nail should have sent it to you. Email me and I’ll try to set this up.
Ok, will do. I don’t think Tooth & Nail has ever responded to my emails so maybe they think I’m a fake imposter trying to get new music, haha.
*Done* I have emailed them and I have given my official staff list of people to send albums to. There should only be three of us getting albums.
am I one of them? I hope you dont get a four song sampler from them like I did Demon Hunter. That was lame!!!
The track got better as it went on. Really enjoyed it.
I agree completely Brandon! It’s really an amazing album, glad that T&N got it to me last week. I’ve listened just about every day! I’m also setting up an interview with Matt, so I’m pretty excited about that!
Good song. Shouldn’t y’all be plugging people to preorder instead of buying it when it comes out? I mean, they’re donating all their profits from preorders to Haiti relief
No doubt Dan, a good cause and I’m glad TCC are doing it. I know we’ve had a couple preorder news posts on here since that started with mention to the Haiti donation. I wonder how many other bands would sacrifice their pre-order sales for something like this.
Good call Dan. I’ll update the post with a link to preorder it.
love it, very short though
I really like it as well. One of the few T&N bands I like
haha Steve, sounds like T&N is teasing you on Demon Hunter. Record labels do goofy things sometimes…
after listening to the sampler and new song
I am SOOO psyched for this album
can’t wait!!
The Classic Crime has been one of the very few rock bands who challenge the listener with a wide range of music variety. There are so amazingly versatile that they will never be boring. No one song sounds like the rest in every album, “Vagabonds”, is no exception. It is a fine artistic masterpiece!. This talent and artistry is what the music world needs today and it makes The Classic Crime rise above many bands today, including those in Major Labels. It is unquestionable that the artistic qualities of this band excels the expectation of todays music listener.
Excuse my typos on my previous comment. TCC has got me pretty excited!
