Now this is some good music.
Sounded pretty good. Seems like the type of band Come & Live would sign as far as the overall sound goes. Wasn’t as epic as I was hoping from the description though. I really wish a band would be able to rival the Arcade Fire in terms of epicness. The last song was pretty sweet though and by far the best.
Well this is all from an unsigned band who have recorded this on their own dime. I think they’ve done a fine job and the professionalism definitely shines through in these three songs.
I grew up in Lynchburg Va. Lived there til i was 24. I still go back quite often to visit friends and family.
Yeah Brandon, it was recorded and done quite well. I think they deserve to get signed to a label like Come & Live or something. They deserve it more than the thousandth crabcore band.
Im from Lynchburg. Brandon seems to attract lburg bands both on comps and news.
Ready the Way, Reapers Are The Angels, Endeavor The Seas, My Epic (originally was from lburg), Amelia Jay, Ashway, and probably others. its kind of wierd for such a small city
YAY! for lynchburg bands. I was in a local (lynchburg) band for a while (that disbanded) called FallofRed. haha twas fun.
Yeah for some reason IVM has attracted a strong East Coast following. Not sure how that’s possible or why, but it just happened over time. I hardly talk to any bands on the West Coast, California in particular and that’s where I am located. So strange. I’m not complaining though, I think it’s totally cool. I just wondering how those people on the East Coast found us in the first place?
the internet has no borders
another great Lynchburg band Brandon…seen these guys live a couple times at LU and they are great live!
@tfarris that name sounds so familiar. i’ve been around the lynchburg music scene for some time, who did you play with i’ll have to go look through my piles of show flyers some time.
@chris w: was back in 2003-2004. For Cryn’ Out loud, If I were Alive. our drummer went on to play in Aldora for a bit. Our vocalist/bass player played in Adolyn Sky. we did a mixture of chaos/metal.
Woo i know for cryin out louds drummer we went to church together. And i have the aldoras ep. EFT was active then too
Haha Nice! I am great friends with him, his brother and his family. If you went to shows at Insite (the church off timberlake rd) and that basement bar off rivermont than you probably have seen us.
our last show was at the “fishbowl” with hi hi sixshooter, if i were alive and a couple other bands. I still have the flyer from that one. June 11 2004.
I am really digging these songs. I have listened to them over and over again. This band certainly deserves some sort of label interest. Or they could just do it themselves (DIY) and you guys could all buy their stuff, right?
I’m having some problems downloading this. Every time I click download it comes up with a time estimate (a couple of minutes) but then a few seconds later says it’s complete. When I try to open the ‘complete’ file it says it is corrupted and incomplete. Bah.
As I said from the listen I had on Myspace this is really good.
Well I just downloaded this a few minutes ago here on my work computer through Firefox and it worked fine. Not sure why you’re having trouble though.
I’d but stuff from them for sure.
I’m not sure either because the other files downloaded well. I’ll keep trying.
This stuff is terrific. They incorporate alot of good elements. I can’t to support this band, and buy their cd
This stuff is awesome. “Come, Heaven” is absolutely wonderful.
