It’s one of those moments where I lose a little more hope in humanity. I can’t even begin to express how awful that was…. I’m also very tired (effin dentist appointment, why did it have to be so early?!), so that’s probably why too.
I want my 4 minutes back!
So what they’re basically saying is that Christians are so horny they can’t even handle a genuine hug without thinking impure sexual thoughts. Perhaps rather than behavior modification we need to get to the source and renew our minds so that this isn’t a problem in the first place.
I just thought I’d mention that this is a joke rap put together at a conference making fun of those Christians that are uptight.

It’s a little sad that this could be taken as genuine. Christian music has gotten that bad. But it’s awfully funny if you know it’s not serious.

It’s true. I currently go there, but its hardly enforced any more. How awkward that would be to break that up! “Uh.. thats been uhhh.. 4 or 5 seconds now…sooo uhhh… stop hugging.”

why are christians making fun of other christians? some people are uptight, yes, i agree. but if a “side hug” is what some people need to do so they aren’t tempted, so be it. its not cool for anyone to be doing the whole body hugs… sometimes its too up close and personal and if you aren’t comfy with the thought of having some persons body pressed up against yours then fine. i like hugs, but i have a personal space thing too. regular hugs won’t get you pregnant but if all the human contact you ever have is just a passing “hey, how ya doin” pat on the back, that’s sad.

That is ridiculous! What’s so wrong with hugging? I would hate to think that Jesus will not meet me with open arms when I finally get to heaven. What! I’ll get a pat on the back with “glad you made it”.
I “front hug” people like 20 times a day, and no sexual thoughts going through my head. Boy wait till these guys come across Russian Christians who give BIG hugs and kisses!!! This stuff isn’t bad and I am sick of people thinking so. Hug it up!
