I will be doing an interview with Switchfoot so if you have any questions go ahead and post them here. I’ll take them until the beginning of next week. As you all know, Switchfoot have their 7th studio album coming out November 10th, Hello Hurricane. They also have a headlining tour planned in smaller venues than usual and they will play Hello Hurricane in its entirety along with a few old favorites.
Switchfoot questions anybody?

if to Jon Foreman:
what was it like working and touring with Sean Watkins for Fiction Family? Are collaboration projects something you enjoy doing and would wish to continue in the future?
will this be with all the members of the band?
if so you should ask Jerome what he thinks of the new Radiance Effect album.
hahahaha.
but legit… he has it… and i wanna know what he thinks.
lol…
Will there ever be a Fold Zandura reunion?
Will Hello Hurricane be available on emusic.com?
Are the tour dates that are posted on the SF website the whole HH tour, or will you be adding additional shows?
Question for Jon: How do you and your wife manage to stay together when you are gone so much?
When is switchfoot coming to tour Canada?
will they ever take ruth or copeland on tour again?
or who is going to be the opener for the hello hurricane tour?
When are you coming to the Czech republic?
can you just tell them “thank you so much for all your blood, sweat & tears!” for me?
Come on peeps, we need better questions than just touring ones that will probably be answered in the next week or so!
Which song did you guys find the most difficult to make?
What of the “Eastern Hymns for Western Shores EP” that we’ve heard about?
When are you guys going to break up? : D haha
I’d like to add to the chorus of questions concerning whether Switchfoot is going to be playing more shows on the Hello Hurricane tour. None of the places currently listed are in the midwest. It’s all concentrated in the west and the south.
will there be more tour dates for the Hello Hurricane tour posted soon?
Yeah, I’m hoping that this is just the first leg of the tour as well since they are coming no where near me. However, by the time this interview is done that question will likely already be answered one way or another. I need more questions than the same one from 5 different people. :-P
To all the guys: What’s your biggest pet peeve?
What’s a hidden talent you have?
Which guy is the most annoying in the morning when you guys are on tour?
To the guys: “What’s your absolute #1 favorite song in the world?”
Jon – are there ever songs that you’ve written that you hesitate to release because they are so personal?
what’s the easiest thing about being on tour, and what’s the hardest?
can you ask them how they remain so humble in their fame.
Why dont jerome & chad have twitter??!
For all the members: Which song on Hello Hurricane is your favorite and why?
Also – which song overrall is your favorite and why?
would you ever experiment with electronic music? think the postal service
Also, to Jerome: how is working with Switchfoot different than Mortal or Fold Zandura?
And to Drew: How is working with All Together Separate different than with Switchfoot?
To the guys: Have the struggles in making Hello Hurricane brought you closer as a band?
Did any of the guys ever take music lessons as teens/kids, if so what type?
I think Switchfoot or one of their fan clubs linked up this post. All these comments were in moderation for me to approve today.
Hah, I may be partly to blame for that Brandon. I needed a better variety of questions and went to the source. Good for site traffic though, no? :-P
Come to UK before Jan please or South Africa next year… you guys love SA so surely you want to gig there?? Please please please…
Switchfoot:
Thanks so much for giving us a window into the making of HH. It seemed the journey you were on to complete this album were at times difficult and challenging yet you faced the challenge head on and in the process completed multiple albums, so many times if we are not alert to what is going on with us and around us we can miss what the journey wants to teach us about ourself and the people around. Question – What do you think the journey to HH has taught you guys about yourselves individually and as a group, and how do you see your songs making a difference in people’s life.
When are you coming back to the Philippines?
ask them why they suck so bad. kidding!
Hey Guys:
I know you said you will be switching things up a bit on the HH tour so is there any possibility of seeing Chad and Drew singing backup, I think it will be awesome to see them singing especially Drew I think he is just waiting to break out in songs he is so funny and it would be so rad to see Chad killing those drums while belting out those vocals. luv u guys.
Jon and Tim I know you write most of the songs and it is so great to see both your names on the HH album [yeah]. Question have you ever sat down to write as a group, and if so how did it go or not go, or do you prefer as a group to have just one or two writers.
what ever happened to the friend that you wrote “concrete girl” about? do you still keep in touch?
Jon – what do you mean when you say you on your facebook that you are an “attempting christian humanist?”
Your music videos are always a highlight of anything you guys do. They’re humorous, poignant, and very creative! Are there any music videos planned for any of the songs on HH? If so, when might we see one?
ask them if matt t ever talked about katy perry?
When are you guys touring to Asia particularly back to the Philippines! We love you here!
