A Current Affair New Album

The Fresno, CA. based rock band A Current Affair is set to release their brand new EP entitled The Real Devastation next month. The Real Devastation is the band’s second EP to be released independently. The first disc, Life in an Hourglass, was released in 2007, and landed A Current Affair on tour with bands like The Wedding, The Fold, Wavorly, Run Kid Run, and This Beautiful Republic. While Life in an Hourglass drew comparisons to many acts in the screamo genre, A Current Affair has traded in the screaming for a much more melodic approach this time around for The Real Devastation.
The new 5-song disc will be available on tour with the band starting in August, and will be for sale on most of the major internet music sites later that month.
