Pillar was the band that got me into christian music years back. I thought all that was out there was newsboys and audio adrenaline… then I heard pillar and it opened the flood gates to tons of amazing music. I’ve long since outgrown them, but I do appreciate them on my musical journey thus far.

However, have they put out anything decent since “Where do we go from here?”? From what I’ve heard, the answer is no.

Love the pic! But hey guys, They aren’t kidding you about the rock on this one. It isn’t as bad as the last. Actually FTLOTG wasn’t horrible just not edgy. Trust me, after hearing Secrets and Regrets as well as Fire on the Inside, this album is not a joke. It’s for real. Secrets and Regrets isn’t the ballad, but it’s a mid tempo song that will get to you, and Fire on the inside is the first of many face melters that will make you mosh

For The Love Of The Game Was Awesome! I still think “The Reckoning” was the best album though. The Picture is stupid, this is their sixth album and their all in their late twenties/Early Thirties, not some brand new band of eighteen year olds. I thought Rob Would be more mature, heck, I Sixteen and I don’t think red spiky hair is cool, the flat cap is much cooler.

All of Pillar’s Music over the years have evolved to become better! I’d loved “Where Do We go From Here” and “For the Love Of the Game” personally my two favorite.The Reckoning was awesome too,it was very heavy! And Fireproof is what really got them going in their careers.Now Hearing some of Confessions songs “Fire on the inside and Secrets and Regrets! The music is very heavy and new for them! I believe every band develops a new sound from album to album.They have,Like all the meanings to the songs…They all speak about being more bold in our faith,and staying strong in life.With that said,I think the pic cool! Its not Immature or Emo,its bold and aggressive like the new music.If Rob chooses to do that with his hair,who cares? There are tons of other bands that look like Idiots and have no talent,their all about image.Pillar’s member’s have always had Amazing talent.Now they have a little edge,with the new image! Nothing wrong with that!!!! Sound,meaning,image,…etc always changes! It gets better or worse! Pillar always gets better!!!

I think its gonna be an Amazing album and I can’t wait to see how much they’ve gotten better

Like a bunch of girls around here. Talking about how the hair got did and whatnot. Is a person’s looks really more important than the music??? And about the flat cap thing…I can’t stand those hats. EVERYBODY wears them. Everybody looks exactly the same now. There is no individuality anymore. Like a bunch of drones. There’s nothing cool about dressing yourself just to look like a certain crowd.

Also, on a side note…I think Fireproof was these guys’ best album.

first…kevin, er, schlott is an obvious hypocrite ;)

and i thought the flat cap thing was…like…sooo two years ago. they’re super comfy though. that is, of course, if we are talkin about the same kinda flat cap, as i imagine there could be more than one kinda cap that could be called flat.

also, i liked where do we go from here for awhile, now it seems kinda stale, probably cus i’ve listened to a lot of music since then, now ive lost pretty much all interest in this band

Hats with FlexFit® are by far more comfortable than others. Actually, hats like real men wear, like cabbie caps, bowlers, fedoras, and the like are much more comfortable, being made of natural and finer materials than sports caps.

I guess we’d have more to talk about besides Pillar’s schizophrenic fashion choices if they made interesting music.
