“I launched Indie Vision Music in July of 2000 with the purpose of sharing independent Christian music with a lost and hurting world.” – Staff Blog, January 30th
There is a 1 in 365.25 chance Jesus was born on July 4th and I am getting married then.
It’s IVM Festivus Day?
Let me make a random guess this is actually the day President Lyndon B Johnson signs the freedom of information act july 4th 1966.
(a different) Dan wins above. He guessed it, the 9th anniversary of Indie Vision Music’s launch. I launched the site on July 4th, 2000 as a simple webstore, selling hundreds of different albums from Christian artists. Slowly over time the site has developed into something much greater and here we are 9 years later as a webzine, specializing in the promotion and exposure of Christian aritsts. Thanks to all of you staff for sticking with the site and me for the past few years (some of you longer and some of your shorter). Next year is the 10th anniversary so I’d like to do something special for that.
Oooh, maybe you could coordinate thousands of fireworks shows around the country for the 10th anniversary!!
Sweet! I was right :) I get a cd?
i said ivms birthday : /
Yes (a different) Dan, you get one just shoot me an email brandon@indievisionmusic.com. I said in the top post that you had to be “specific” meaning you had to know the significance of the date as well as what anniversary it was.
