I'm not a big fan of Eleventyseven musically... but I have to say that they do hold a certain place in my heart. Allow me to tell you a story. At Creation West last July, I was talking to the guys from Future of Forestry while the guys from Eleventyseven were posing for pictures with fans immediately behind us. For whatever reason, they were holding nasty mushy bananas as they posed. Well, one overly zealous fan had the brilliant idea of stomping on one of the bananas, which, of course, splattered all over people in the general vicinity. Only a few tiny pieces got on me, but a couple huge globs hit a guy next to me on the head and shoulder. He was understandably ticked, but maintained his composure fairly well. As a comical apology, a couple guys from Eleventyseven drug the kid over and held him while offering to let the guy punch the kid in the stomach... which, to their surprise, he actually did. Probably harder than any of them had anticipated. Certainly harder than the kid expected. So while the kid is doubled over on the ground at their feet... these guys just bust out laughing. I respect that.

Rk certainly wins against things like drug addictions and Soulja Boy, and I'd like to think they would win over a lot more than that...

not quite as good, but similar stickability...which is little. this is the kind of band you listen to every once in awhile and then think "oh yea why dont i listen to them more?" and then you forget about them for a few more months

this is a proper rating:

relient k>eleventyseven>philmont>alakrity>divided by friday

I've considered getting this off eMusic, but I wonder how long it would stick with me. How do you compare it to, say, the new FM Static, Tyler?
