This is not music related so if you have a problem with it, stop reading now. Congress has passed the “Cash for Clunkers” bill that would allow a $3500 or $4500 voucher to new car buyers if they trade in their old “Clunker” of a vehicle for a new more “Fuel efficient” model. The car has to be a model year 1984 or later. Read below for details on how you can get your voucher.Don’t you all get the eery sensation that soon the government will own everything including your soul? Lol, sure seems like it. I just laugh at all the young people who blindly voted for Obama and think now that this is all just “free money” raining down from the skies. Where do you think that money comes from folks? Well it’s borrowed from your generation and all future generations to come. That’s my rant.

Under the proposal, car owners could get a voucher worth $3,500 if they traded in a vehicle getting 18 miles per gallon or less for one getting at least 22 mpg. The value of the voucher would grow to $4,500 if the mileage of the new car was 10 mpg higher than the old vehicle. The miles per gallon figures are listed on the car window’s sticker.
Owners of sport utility vehicles, pickup trucks or minivans that get 18 mpg or less could receive a voucher for $3,500 if their new truck or SUV got at least 2 mpg higher than their old vehicle. The voucher would increase to $4,500 if the mileage of the new truck or SUV was at least 5 mpg higher than the older vehicle.

I agree with your rant
Lol. Otherwise people would not be into the whole fuel efficient thing.
CNN said the other day that Obama is better liked for who he is than his policies.
I laugh, because the “fuel of efficient cars” of today are like half plastic, parts that won’t last as long, and not as fuel efficient, even hybrids, some of them, are less fuel efficient than my “clunker” of a 1991 Chevy Corsica (I love that car, it is cheap on parts, and good on gas mileage).
this is bullshit. either we all should be rewarded for breathing and owning cars, or those who have already sacrificed time and money to buy more fuel efficient cars should be rewarded. helping those along who haven’t done something already is counter productive because those people will always expect the government to be picking up where they leave off and fail. what’s the incentive for buying a car yourself when the government will help you out? there is none.
and you do not work hard to buy that new car really.
