hoping for the best…wondering if the new drummer will effect the sound at all

  • Brandon says:

I think it’s a little weird that a pop punk band would need like 10 writers. Weird.

  • Tyler.H says:

they did that on their last album too…it kind of causes…a lack of unity :-/

ahahaha, I cant wait for this album to come out either. I just heard their new song live life loud. I wasnt their absolute best, but it had a good beat and good lyrics. all in all it was pretty sweet! I really don’t want to wait that long for this album

yeah young teen screaming girls for Hawk Nelson. If you go to a Hawk Nelson concert then you’ll be seeing “CHURCH GIRLS GONE WILD!!!” for sure. HN is alright, but it totally sucks that they are going out on tour with Skillet, because Skillet is a really big band, unlike HN. And a pop rock band with an alternative band doesn’t really go together, you know? Oh well. I’m going to have to be bringing some ear plugs for the concert because the teen girls screams are just so annoying!!!

Hawk Nelson is one awesome band. I am not to worried about Skillet though. I am sure theyll do great. I just love their theme about being friends. Very cool. I know I sure am proud to say Hawk Nelson is my friend. :)

  • tyler h says:

blaize…hawk has toured with toby mac, a much bigger act than skillet, they’ll do fine.

and christian tours are often like that…acts that don’t necessarily “fit” together…kinda like this website :)

i remember seeing hawk at chain reaction, they work much better at a scene venue than in stadiums

Blaze. are you kidding me?? Hawk Nelson is not as famous as Skillet but they also havent been around as long. In reality Hawk Nelson is in fact famous, they won a grammy nomination for best recording package and won a number one spot on VH1’s top 20 video countdown and have been featured on many movies and tv shows and even on the NFL commercial and NHL commercial, too bad you cant say the same about skillet…I think you are just posting your opinion in fact most my friends havent heard of skillet but have heard of Hawk Nelson and just like tyler said hawk nelson can play with toby mac..so what you said was pointless to point out. Hawk Nelson will have no problem touring with Skillet and well probably draw more people to the concert i mean the pop punk genre is most popular today, is it not?

  • Tyler.H says:

i just realized that he called Skillet an alternative band. lawlz.

  • Brandon says:

    You gotta love Google.com! ;)

  • Nic says:

haha yea tyler! how is skillet an alternative band Blaze??

  • dhanzmom says:

I just saw Hawk Nelson in Saint Louis (08/02/09). They were rockin’ it. If you don’t like pop-punk, then they just aren’t your band.

The teenage girls screamed for them; however, it wasn’t 1/10 as bad as when Flyleaf took the stage. I think anyone within 100 feet of the screaming mimis will have permanent hearing loss.
