if your answer isn’t GI Joes then your answer is wrong.

  • Andy K says:

The last trailer I saw for GI Joe didn’t look that great. Also, it has Channing Tatum & Marlon Wayans in it. They are terrible.

I really want to see Terminator Salvation & The Hangover.

  • Stephen M says:

I am going to see the premiere of Terminator tonight! I am so pumped!

  • Seriously, GI Joe looks like it’s going to be one of the worst movies this year next to Transformers and Harry Potter. It looked like such a cheesy action movie and not in a good way. Hot Fuzz was at least good cheese. It’s all about Terminator and Public Enemies for me and Star Trek was amazing.

  • TylerM says:

I will say this now. If you vote for GI Joe, you deserve to die in every way imaginable over and over and then hit across the face with a rubber chicken repeatedly by Britney Spears as she sings her greatest hits off key.

I will fight you to the death, skinny man. just because you guys grew up on power rangers (ie the worst show ever made) doesn’t mean that you can bash GI Joe! same goes for transformers. the early reviews for terminator say that its all action and no depth. i’m okay with that, but if you dont want to see gi joes or transformers for that reason then youre going to be disappointed with T:S

I for one am excited for Transformers and their massive robot battles that’s to be expected in the film. I heard there are way more robots this time around and more battles than the first film. I’m kind of torn of G.I. Joe. I think it’s weird that they are all in some kind of “Super Human” black suits that cause them all to do extraordinary things when in the cartoons they just wore camouflage, uniforms, etc. However, seeing early footage of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow battling it out is pure awesomeness. I grew up with Transformers and G.I. Joe so don’t rip on my childhood ;) Dont you people go to the movie theaters to be entertained by big budget effects and tantalizing features? I sure as heck don’t go to the movie theaters to waste my time on some indie flick with a minimal budget when I could just stay home and wait for it to hit DVD/Blu Ray. I don’t pay $10+ for indie flicks and would much rather not be bored to tears by them. I like brainless popcorn flicks that are built to wow and amaze you.

I just got back from seeing terminator…and it was awesome in all…but man after watching star trek i just don’t know it didnt compare in awesomeness

  • I definitely don’t watch those horrid indie films but no matter how big of a budget a movie has I can’t excuse chessiness to see ‘em. I won’t watch Transformers simply because that Shia Labuff (intention mispelling) guy is in it and everytime I see him and his over-the-top acting I want to strangle someone. :-/ I’d watch it if he weren’t in there but in the first movie every scene he was in made me cringe.

  • Stephen M says:

Yeah I went to the premiere as well for Terminator. I thought Star Trek was better still but I really enjoyed Terminator. I’d give it a solid 8/10.

I will NOT see Transformers and G.I. Joe. So I’m not looking forward to them. Those storms of plastic do nothing for me. I was planning on seeing Terminator though. Could be that it’ll dissappoint because I am/was a fan of the T:TSCC series (now cancelled :( ) and it had great character work. Uhm. I’ll give the movie a chance. Liked the trailers.

And have you seen the trailer for District 9? Awesome!! If it has the focus that is portrayed in the trailer, it’s propably going to be my movie of the year.

Another movie that I am REALLY stoked about is Moon! It looks so oldschool it HAs to be good! Plus it has Kevin Spacey. Well his only voice. Go check it out if you liked movies like 2001, Alien, etc.

There’s more this summer than big budget remakes and sequels. Just look for the good stuff, it’s still there. :)

  • Travis Aker says:

Transformers 2 looks awesome, and so does Terminator: Salvation, and Night of The Museum looks good and plus its a good clean movies for the family to see.

  • Jewel U says:

Movies I’m definitely interested in seeing or have already seen and were well worth it:
Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen
    Terminator Salvation
    Up
    Star Trek
    I Love You, Beth Cooper
    Inglorious Basterds
    X Men Origins: Wolverine

Movies I’m a little on the fence on:
    G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra

    sorry tyler. lol.
