I don’t understand why anyone is having problems. I downloaded it last week at work and it came through fine.
i’m facing the same problem also….. we need to download with firefox?? cause im using internet explorer n i tried for thousands of time with many sites but still cant…

Most people have had it successfully downloaded, it is something with your computers. I downloaded it in IE and it worked fine. My buddy downloaded it in firefox, it was fine.
should’ve put VENIA on that bad boy.
they were on one of the last compilations. a lot of bands we could’ve put onto this and we were not going to go with too many signed bands.
I love Venia, they are from my home state.
hey ivm today when downloading its stops at 69% as though its complete i doubt its my computer considering i download stuff all the time but its not working.
Try downloading it again, it should work now.
I have firefox and this is a brand new computer. No more than a month and a half old. I’ll try it again in a little while when I have some time and no one else needs to use the puter.
And mine has done the same thing Mr. Joshua Clark.
Stops around 70% and I too download a LOT.
I’ve gotten about 3 gigs of free, legal material over the past month
With it stopping like that, at almost 70%, I dunno…. must be something enabled, some security setting. I think it is working for most people now. Does it work on zshare, or does it do the same thing too?
I tried Zshare and it stopped at 29%
What kind of security thing would be enabled? lol
I wouldn’t know where to look first
Yet again.
Got to 75% and it stopped
And now I finally got it after 10+ tries.
still not working and i am using a different computer and IE
Sorry Matt, I don’t know what to tell you. It works for me.
P.S. I only use Firefox
Hm, this is weird stuff.
I guess I’ll try again sometime and see if it’ll work but my computer hasn’t been able to completely download any large files at all since about May 12th (the last time one worked successfully).
I’m starting to think there’s some weird thing going on with the whole internet causing certain computers to not be able to download things right, but that’s probably a bit far-fetched =P
…or is it? O.o
Mine was corrupt. Weird. Didn’t realize my friend from NC was doing vocals again (Shotgun Saints & the Man on Fire). I’ll give this a try again later.
tried it again today with FF & only got 115mb down before it quit on me so i don’t know whats wrong maybe you guys should check your end could be something there who knows. it just failed on me but i think thats just me i’ll try it again hopefully it will work.
The first time I downloaded it downloaded all but 3 songs, but I just tried it again and it was fine.
Excited about this. Cant wait for more metal comps. :D
well i dont know why but i am just one of those unfortunate people who just cannot get it to download properly seeing as its a rar if its not complete then it just wont open.
I honestly dont know if it’s a Internet Explorer issue or not. All I know is that I have downloaded it multiple times on two different computers and it works fine for me.
to all who still cant get it to download right if you use torrent its available at http://www.torrentreactor.com if you dont already torrent i highly recommend it.
Bloodline Severed is a brutal band, never heard of them before i listened to this compilation and now i’m a fan! good stuff!
Hey everybody! Thanks for supporting this amazing compilation. Our band, Behold The Man, is on it. Be sure to give us a listen and let us know what you think. We kind of fly under the radar, but we we are trying to bring a brutality that is not often seen in Christian music. God bless!!

There’s definitely some good stuff on here… but honestly, I was surprised by the amount of bands that I enjoyed quite a bit until the vocals kicked in. There were quite a few tracks where it sounded like the exact same vocalist was in every band, and it didn’t do a whole lot for me.
Gotta give it a few more listens definitely as I’m just generalizing but a few bands that stood out as awesome were STL, Behold The Man, Hands, & Bloodline Severed.
Nater, keep listening, there are more gems on this for sure. Btw, thanks for the support.
The Aneirin track is so good.
Reapers Are The Angels are sweet also… but the recording sounds kinda quiet and cloudy.
Seems like a solid band though.
I don’t like a lot of the clean vocals on the compilation but hey, what can ya do?
Got a few new bands that i like out of it anyways :D
In other news…….check out the AWESOME project 86 pre-orders! they really outdid themselves this time! I NEED that mother package BADLY!!! too bad I got no money.
Wrong post, can you delete that one or put it in its right place? This news post has nothing to do with Project 86, we have other posts on here about them, post your spam there, thanks!
Yea, you tell ‘em, Len! haha
How long before another heavy compilation comes out? My band should be ready to submit soon.
I dunno. You know us… we space out the release of the next one. I have no clue though, but I think it went well enough, so it might get another green light in the future.
e-mail me nater….

thanks!
I’m hesitant to download this bemuse i already have allot of hardcore music, so whats the point of downloading this major file with so many songs from hardcore metal bands i have never heard of before? At least i can understand the lyrics to the hardcore music i have, but for theses songs, probably not.
whatever you do, do NOT listen to The Brigade….they are aweful
Not many people have heard of these bands, that is the point of this whole site really.
At least three of the songs have a good chunk of clean vocals.
You should download it, give it a try… you will probably find something you will like.
Why recycle the same ten or twenty bands though? We try our best to introduce people to new bands, and a few of these bands will get signed in the future I am sure.
and yes, the intention of this compilation is for heavy bands ONLY.
Yeah. I saw Second Thief in there, and i love them, so i did download it. The file finished downloading, but when i tried to open it, it did not work O_0
ugh, a few people have had that issue…. most have been ok, but a few have been having that issue.
*SIGH* I am among the cursed …
Jon, try using Firefox and see if that works.
I was using Firefox when i downloaded it. I always use Firefox.
I used IE and it worked for me.
I am not familiar with what “IE” is, Len. But no worries. I emailed the song “Pestilence” from Second Thief to myself using my brothers computer. He was luckier than I was with this download.
i used netscape. wait, no, this isn’t 1998 and i don’t listen to this stuff :)
i hope jon was kidding about not knowing what ie is. that would sadden me.
i miss netscape, but only nostalgically.
Sorry tyler… I wasn’t kidding *evil laugh*.. Sooo do you want to tell me what it is after you recover from crying?!
Internet Explorer…. my old Macintosh – Digital Media teacher called it Internet Exploder. Lol, HS memories.
Well after a month of trying (well, a month since i first tried at least), it finally downloaded right!
I’m liking this a lot more than I thought I would too. This stuff is good!
Yea. It took me at least a month. Probably closer to 1.5 to get it.
I enjoy it.
These Heavenly Lights is AWWEEESOME!!!!
I’ll download it now, God bless us all!
We need another heavy compilation!!!!
The Aneirin track owns.
