There’s definitely some good stuff on here… but honestly, I was surprised by the amount of bands that I enjoyed quite a bit until the vocals kicked in. There were quite a few tracks where it sounded like the exact same vocalist was in every band, and it didn’t do a whole lot for me.
Gotta give it a few more listens definitely as I’m just generalizing but a few bands that stood out as awesome were STL, Behold The Man, Hands, & Bloodline Severed.
Nater, keep listening, there are more gems on this for sure. Btw, thanks for the support.
The Aneirin track is so good.
Reapers Are The Angels are sweet also… but the recording sounds kinda quiet and cloudy.
Seems like a solid band though.
I don’t like a lot of the clean vocals on the compilation but hey, what can ya do?
Got a few new bands that i like out of it anyways :D
In other news…….check out the AWESOME project 86 pre-orders! they really outdid themselves this time! I NEED that mother package BADLY!!! too bad I got no money.
Wrong post, can you delete that one or put it in its right place? This news post has nothing to do with Project 86, we have other posts on here about them, post your spam there, thanks!
Yea, you tell ‘em, Len! haha
How long before another heavy compilation comes out? My band should be ready to submit soon.
I dunno. You know us… we space out the release of the next one. I have no clue though, but I think it went well enough, so it might get another green light in the future.
e-mail me nater….

thanks!
I’m hesitant to download this bemuse i already have allot of hardcore music, so whats the point of downloading this major file with so many songs from hardcore metal bands i have never heard of before? At least i can understand the lyrics to the hardcore music i have, but for theses songs, probably not.
Not many people have heard of these bands, that is the point of this whole site really.
At least three of the songs have a good chunk of clean vocals.
You should download it, give it a try… you will probably find something you will like.
Why recycle the same ten or twenty bands though? We try our best to introduce people to new bands, and a few of these bands will get signed in the future I am sure.
and yes, the intention of this compilation is for heavy bands ONLY.
Yeah. I saw Second Thief in there, and i love them, so i did download it. The file finished downloading, but when i tried to open it, it did not work O_0
ugh, a few people have had that issue…. most have been ok, but a few have been having that issue.
*SIGH* I am among the cursed …
Jon, try using Firefox and see if that works.
I was using Firefox when i downloaded it. I always use Firefox.
I used IE and it worked for me.
I am not familiar with what “IE” is, Len. But no worries. I emailed the song “Pestilence” from Second Thief to myself using my brothers computer. He was luckier than I was with this download.
i used netscape. wait, no, this isn’t 1998 and i don’t listen to this stuff :)
i hope jon was kidding about not knowing what ie is. that would sadden me.
i miss netscape, but only nostalgically.
Sorry tyler… I wasn’t kidding *evil laugh*.. Sooo do you want to tell me what it is after you recover from crying?!
Internet Explorer…. my old Macintosh – Digital Media teacher called it Internet Exploder. Lol, HS memories.
Well after a month of trying (well, a month since i first tried at least), it finally downloaded right!
I’m liking this a lot more than I thought I would too. This stuff is good!
Yea. It took me at least a month. Probably closer to 1.5 to get it.
I enjoy it.
These Heavenly Lights is AWWEEESOME!!!!
I’ll download it now, God bless us all!
