I just got word from Scott Silletta’s mouth that he is indeed working on a Solo record that he hopes to have ready by March 2009. I have encouraged him for years to record solo material and I am glad he is finally going to do just that. Scott Silletta owns his own studio in Orange, CA. called “Orange Crush Studio” and has produced countless bands over the years. He is also well known as the former lead singer/guitarist of the hit T&N band, Plankeye. He was also the front man for both Fanmail and The Franchise. You may have caught him recently as the drummer for My Compatriots.

We are going to try and coordinate an interview with him soon so we can pick his brain about different things in the industry.

As a note to all you label insiders, believe it or not, he does not have a label representing his new solo work and he is currently looking for one. If you’re interested in “signing” Scott and putting out his music, contact him at the myspace provided above.
