I still haven’t managed to go to one of these but if even half the bands I voted for are there I’m going to do all I can to make it this year. Oh how I would love to see mewithoutYou, Cool Hand Luke, Jars of Clay, Maylene, and Sleeping at Last all in a matter of days. I think my head would explode…
zao, zao, and zao.
pleasure overload
ZAO!!!!!!!
People need to add Sleeping Giant down the bottom. Just saying…
of course my vote goes for Blindside!! but i have a question…. is alesana a christian band? i’m pretty sure their not.
Some non christian bands make it on to the schedule of Cornerstone each year. It’s a tricky situation. Ask Josh, he knows how many bands have snuck on there.
i wonder if blinside is ever gonna come out with another album?
ANTESTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
zao
Yeah, it’s frustrating when legitimately Christian bands can’t get booked, yet those who aren’t get asked to play. That’s my vent for the day… haha.
People should vote for Send Out Scuds, but also write in Saints Never Surrender, The Red Baron, All In, Venia, and The Blue Letter. I’m a little biased though, but it can’t hurt to mention.
I did actually write in Venia and The Red Baron. No lie.
people should vote for the bands that THEY want to see, not the bands that you want to see.
and this is America…don’t you know its a Christian nation? we’re all Christians here.
but, no, really, let’s have this discussion again. i’ll be gone for a couple days, what do I care?
Being an American doesn’t make you a Christian. Placing your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior makes you a Christian.
We live in a world where people think that everyone is a christian, they don’t know what it means.
i thought still remains broke up?
Nate,
I hope you know I was joking. Please tell me you know this.
I knew you were joking, for what it’s worth. I choose to believe you were trying to start beef over hardcore bands again. Yes, you ARE that controversial…
Haha, I kid, I kid.
I don’t have a problem with hardcore bands, I just don’t like hardcore music, just not my thing.
Tyler,
I actually thought you were serious. I hear people say things like that a lot, and it irks me.
My apologies for not knowing that it was in jest.
:-P
Nate,
its okay, I was truly being sarcastic, just be a good boy and get the new site design up and running without any macros that make the word Tyler turn into Diaper and we’ll all be happy :)
Hmm..they don’t have Oh, Sleeper listed? Very very strange, seeing as they had the best metalcore release of the second half of ‘07. Very interesting indeed.
Manuel,
Good man! I entered Oh Sleeper manually, cause they NEED to be there my friend.
Yeah, as did I.
the almost, underoath, the devil wears prada and mewithoutYou mewithoutYou mewithoutYou mewithouYou :D
