I just posted my review of a live Ten Shekel Shirt set I saw today. You should definitely give it a read, especially as your alternatives probably consist of Facebook and work.
I’m in the Great White North (New Hampshire, to be exact) chilling at Soulfest. It’s been great so far. Expect reviews of Kevin Max’s and Jars of Clay’s sets today soon, as well as Kiros’s A Single Strand, Capital Lights’ This Is An Outrage!, the Foxglove Hunt’s Stop Heartbeat, (possibly) second opinions of the latest from the Wedding, Run Kid Run, and Secret & Whisper, and a lot more Soulfest live sets.
But for tonight, I’m heading to bed. Tomorrow should include sets by Kiros, Flatfoot 56, Run Kid Run (possibly twice), August Burns Red, the Wedding, and an acoustic set by none other than Reese Roper. Aren’t you jealous?
You should be.

Yeah, If my plane shows up. It’s about 1:30 AM, and we’re two hours late. See you tomorrow (crosses fingers). Good old JetBlue.

OH MY GOODNESS, Reese Roper posts at Indie Vision Music. This is crazy!. Thanks Reese for visiting, I have always loved your music. Okay, enough of my crazy fan worship. Have a good set!
yes. i am.
Ha, it’s so funny to see Brandon fall down onto his knees all of the sudden. Hope that’s really Reese. I met him once. He made fun of my Republican hat.
i’d make fun of you for wearing a republican hat too. what a dork.
Reese told me he wanted to get the Democrat one, and then fight with his wife (who would apparently have the Republican one), but then he realized that was bad for his marriage. True story.
*fights Tyler*
That isn’t the real Reese… because he’d never fly on a plane… he has superpowers like Superman does.
Reese Roper just played a really good set, guys. It was sweet. And as he mentioned that his plane really did come in way late, I’d suspect this post was legit. I’m gonna try to talk to him later (and maybe buy a — *crosses fingers* — discounted Roper shirt), so we’ll see.
By the way, I talked to three of the members of Ten Shekel Shirt this morning after their acoustic set. You guys all really should check them out. Great guys. They evidently read my review (Brandon, I deserve a raise for the high-profile traffic ;)), and we had a cool discussion. Review of the acoustic set soon.
so…is he doing solo stuff full time now or what?
