first of all, i was over “dallas” leaving before i had ever heard of underoath.

second, the reason why underoath sounds like a bunch of other bands is because they all ripped off underoath when they got huge.

This was one of the few times I say something negative about a band and it’s true. I hate it when people get upset because someone who doesnt like the band anymore points their lack of creativity. Underoath said they are going to release a more hard cd, but what I listened to was another carbon copy of Define the Great line.

i don’t see how it’s ever a positive thing when a band made up of Christians has a problem with the vocalist constantly battling substance abuse..

and there are quite a few Christian bands in the general market now a days

Sounds like DtGL except a lot more straightforward. This is a bad thing to me (my favorite UO album was Changing of Times).

i think i dont like people who whine about someone who doesnt like a band that everyone else likes

this is definately define the great line pt. 2, and thats not a compiment from me. personally i enjoyed their poppy screamo way more than this darker sounding metalcore that everyone is playing. meh

I’m excited to hear the rest of the album, I wasn’t too impressed with this song, it seems like the drums are really prominent in the mix and it sounds like a formulated single to me, which will probably be good for them, but this just isn’t the kind of Underoath song i like. All of that aside, I’m sure this will be another great release from these guys.

They took down the original one. The one they put up at midnight was the one from the upcoming Madden 2009, and it wasn’t fully mixed. So they took it down and put up the one that’ll be on the album. When I went to bed last night it had 150,000+ views
