I was surprised it only had 16,000k when I just listened at like 1pm.

  • TylerM says:

They took down the original one. The one they put up at midnight was the one from the upcoming Madden 2009, and it wasn’t fully mixed. So they took it down and put up the one that’ll be on the album. When I went to bed last night it had 150,000+ views

  • Caleb says:

I like it a lot. Some of the best stuff they have done.

  • JoshIVM says:

Ok that makes a lot more sense. Thanks Tyler

  • TylerM says:

If you guys buy the album from underoathmerch.com or something like that you get extra stuff. I got the Special Edition (CD + DVD) with a T-shirt and Poster for $40.00.

my internet is down at home and myspace is blocked at work along with purevolume, so how does the new song(s) compare with their old albums?

  • joe says:

define the great line pt. 2?

  • Brad says:

I’m excited to hear the rest of the album, I wasn’t too impressed with this song, it seems like the drums are really prominent in the mix and it sounds like a formulated single to me, which will probably be good for them, but this just isn’t the kind of Underoath song i like. All of that aside, I’m sure this will be another great release from these guys.

  • jun says:

Underoath is getting old and this new song doesnt live up to its hype. I dont get it why is everyone so excited about this band?

  • HayngMan3000# says:

the only thing getting old is the term “this band is getting old”. Just listen to the music, it’s not like you have to suffer or anything.

  • Phil Recognition says:

underoath got when dallas taylor left. it sounds like everything else! way to be fed the same crap over and over…

  • Phil Recognition says:

    i’m suffering

  • Brandon says:

Because they are a band that consistently sells more than 500,000 records and attracts the attention of both Non-Christians and Christians alike. People genuinely love Underoath for whatever reason and I think it’s a real positive thing to have a band like that in the general marketplace.

  • HayngMan3000# says:

I think i don’t like people who only have bad things to say about everything and never have a positive view on anything.

  • matt says:

i think i dont like people who whine about someone who doesnt like a band that everyone else likes

this is definately define the great line pt. 2, and thats not a compiment from me. personally i enjoyed their poppy screamo way more than this darker sounding metalcore that everyone is playing. meh

  • HayngMan3000# says:

i think matt is the kind of guy who likes changing the world(hint:sarcasm)

  • devin says:

    yea. basically…

    legendary.

  • ryan says:

yeah, definitely sounds like a b-side from define the great line. it still sounds good though. glad they moved away from the they’re only chasing safety poppy sound.

  • sam30 says:

wasn’t as bad as i thought it was going to be (just being honest). still not something that i’d be likely to listen to often (if i was to buy it), but i find it better than the songs i’ve heard from define and chasing safety

  • Caleb says:

I for one love it. I just pre-ordered my copy of the deluxe edition.

  • mike says:

Sounds like DtGL except a lot more straightforward. This is a bad thing to me (my favorite UO album was Changing of Times).

  • Dallas Taylor says:

I can’t believe you guys are still upset over me leaving. Grow up and learn to be positive about things. And accepting. May God bless all of you.

  • Kimberly says:

I was anticipating this. Two straight years of waiting for their new music day by dad striving to hear something about it and here it is…and I’m not in the least bit excited. Not a bad song…just…man not THAT impressive.

  • KT1 says:

Personally I like the song, but I also liked their last album. I guess their going to stick with a “winning formula”. Def. going to be Define pt. 2.

  • Phil Recognition says:

“Because they are a band that consistently sells more than 500,000 records and attracts the attention of both Non-Christians and Christians alike. People genuinely love Underoath for whatever reason and I think it’s a real positive thing to have a band like that in the general marketplace.”

i don’t see how it’s ever a positive thing when a band made up of Christians has a problem with the vocalist constantly battling substance abuse..

and there are quite a few Christian bands in the general market now a days

  • sam30 says:

let’s not make this a personal thing.
some like the band, some don’t.

  • Brandon says:

Yeah let’s not get personal here Phil. Dallas, welcome to the site but realize that you can’t take all of these commentors seriously. Some are just immature little kids with nothing better to do than complain.

  • Phil Recognition says:

i’m not making a personal vendetta against him, it’s a fact that he’s open about.

  • Manuel says:

Was that really Dallas? Dallas (if it’s really you) JOIN the forums!

  • Phil Recognition says:

    ^^ ha! i did’nt see that comment.

all i said was that underoath got (old*) when he left, i said nothing about being upset

  • jun says:

This was one of the few times I say something negative about a band and it’s true. I hate it when people get upset because someone who doesnt like the band anymore points their lack of creativity. Underoath said they are going to release a more hard cd, but what I listened to was another carbon copy of Define the Great line.

  • tyler h says:

first of all, i was over “dallas” leaving before i had ever heard of underoath.

second, the reason why underoath sounds like a bunch of other bands is because they all ripped off underoath when they got huge.
