You all need to check this super band out and please spread the word throughout the internet kingdom. They are called My Compatriots and features Jonathan Caro of Stairwell/Bloodshed fame on Vocals and Guitar, Brian Mayfield on bass, Heather Patton on keys, Ryan Macintosh formerly of Slow Coming Day on Guitar, and the famed Scott Silletta of Plankeye/Fanmail/The Franchise fame on Drums. They just recorded and have released their debut recording “Waiting For Monuments to Pass” and we’ll have some soon in the store. Please tell all your friends about these guys. Check them out here. They’ll start playing shows in June.

I agree. I like this alot.
Scott Silletta’s Plankeye was groundbreaking for christian music. I still listen Commonwealth regularly. I recently searched around for news on him wondering if he had a new band. I guess this counts…
I am hoping he’ll record some solo stuff soon. I told him he should do it. I’ll keep you all posted on if that happens.

This is an amazing band! Look at the line up! Most important that they have great songs and great flow! I checked out their myspace.com/mycompatriots luckily I found them and man it is off the hook. Such catch melodies, and great song writing. The 4 songs that I heard online were simply beautiful. I have been searching for Scott Silletta’s new stuff and to see if he was in a new band, FOUND IT!! GOOD JOB GUYS!
